This is the core Oracle setup for Roqet Database Environments.
It is held as a separate project in order to have some kind of unity.
The scripts only provide the base for Roqet database Environments, but
aren't very functional themselves, so usually the scripts will be included
with the database Environments scripts, and installed at that time.
For the menu to work, the Perl interpreter must be installed on your system,
find it at:
http://www.perl.com or
http://www.activestate.com
An Oracle9i (or above) database must be installed, or an Oracle instance
must be accessible from your system (i.e. the Oracle client must be
installed) - Roqet Database Environments use the SQL*Plus tool extensively.
You can download the Oracle database and/or client from:
http://www.oracle.com (note that unless you are using the database to learn
Oracle, there are license fees involved).
